Timing

The CFLeads Fall Forum will kick off on Tuesday, October 22 with a Welcome Dinner at the Fairmont Hotel featuring keynote speaker Grant Oliphant. The Forum will conclude on Thursday, October 24 at 1:00 PM, with an optional post-event session on the CFLeads “Igniting the Future of Community Foundations”* project from 1:30 – 3:30 PM.

  • Identify the ever-changing roles community foundations need to play as community leaders
  • Debate the role and responsibilities of community foundations in a time of political, economic, and social division
  • Dive into promising practices of community leadership
  • Gather with like-minded peers to build relationships and achieve greater learning
  • Define the future for community foundations committed to community leadership

*Igniting the Future of Community Foundations is a new field research project that will be exploring the impact of community leadership activities across the U.S. and the climate in which we work. All Fall Forum participants are invited to hear the findings of this project to date and provide their insights, questions and feedback.
