SUMMARY:“What’s Next\, America?” for Community Foundations
DESCRIPTION:Join CFLeads and the National Issues Forums Institute (NIFI) for an interactive introduction to What’s Next\, America?\, a national initiative that invites communities to use America’s 250th anniversary not only as a moment of reflection\, but as an opportunity to strengthen the civic skills and relationships we will need for the next 250 years. Participants will explore the initiative’s adaptable discussion and action-planning resources\, learn about opportunities for community mini-grant funding\, and consider how deliberative civic engagement can help community foundations strengthen civic health by bringing residents together across differences\, building shared responsibility\, and creating pathways from conversation to action. The workshop will also feature examples from the Walker Area Community Foundation\, illustrating how community conversations\, partnerships\, and locally rooted action have helped strengthen civic life in Walker County\, Alabama. \nSpeakers \n\nCristin F. Brawner\, Executive Director\, National Issues Forums Institute\nChristine Fernando\, Communications & Creative Manager\, National Issues Forums Institute\nPaul Kennedy\, President\, Walker Area Community Foundation \nSarah Aguirre Origer\, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation\, CFLeads\n\n"What’s Next\, America?” for Community FoundationsPlease enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.Full Name *FirstLastEmail Address *The State/Province You Are Based In *AlabamaAlaskaArizonaArkansasCaliforniaColoradoConnecticutDelawareFloridaGeorgiaHawaiiIdahoIllinoisIndianaIowaKansasKentuckyLouisianaMaineMarylandMassachusettsMichiganMinnesotaMississippiMissouriMontanaNebraskaNevadaNew HampshireNew JerseyNew MexicoNew YorkNorth CarolinaNorth DakotaOhioOklahomaOregonPennsylvaniaRhode IslandSouth CarolinaSouth DakotaTennesseeTexasUtahVermontVirginiaWashingtonWest VirginiaWisconsinWyomingOrganization Name *3 Rivers Community FoundationNot Listed414 Life540WestmainAAAAbalo HouseholdAbecasis HouseholdAberdeen Area Community FoundationAbriendo PuertasAbsarokee Community FoundationAccent on CincinnatiAccess PhilanthropyACT for AlexandriaACT Rochester at RACFAdams County Community FoundationAdams County Community Foundation (IN)Adams County Community Foundation (PA)Adirondack Community FoundationAdirondack FoundationAFNAfrica Grantmakers' Affinity GroupAfrican Visionary FundAICSESAkron Community FoundationAlamance Community FoundationAlbion Community FoundationAlbuquerque Community FoundationAlger Regional Community FoundationAllegany County Area FoundationAll-In CincinnatiAmador Community FoundationAmani Family ServicesAmarillo Area FoundationAmerican Dream Center InstituteAmerican Enterprise InstituteAmerican Indians in Texas InstituteAmerican Indians of Texas at SMAmerican Muslim Community FoundationAmigos de San CristóbalAnaconda Community FoundationAnaheim Community FoundationAnderson + BohlanderAnimal GrantmakersAnn Arbor Area Community FoundationAnnauma Community FoundationAnnie E.
