DESCRIPTION:Connecting Communities in the Americas announces a Peer Resource Sharing Mini-Course: \nCCA Mini-Course\nThis course is for leadership and staff who want to better understand global models for broadening community decision-making within our grantmaking processes. \n  \nPromoting Equity in the Grantmaking Process (Participatory Grantmaking): Part I \nDate: Wednesday\, June 15 \nTime: 2– 3:30 p.m.\, Eastern \nIn this session\, you will learn various approaches to community participation in grantmaking processes\, reflecting on examples from across the globe. \n\nPromoting Equity in the Grantmaking Process (Participatory Grantmaking): Part II \nDate: Thursday\, July 21 \nTime: 2 – 3:30 p.m.\, Eastern \nIn the second session\, you will share your ideas for your own organization\, receive feedback from your peers\, and hear from the Global Fund for Children on their experiences in working with young adults. \n\nParticipants who attend both sessions and complete two short reflective exercises will receive a certificate of participation from CFLeads/Connecting Communities in the Americas (CCA). \nInterpretation services in English\, Spanish and Portuguese will be provided. \nRegister here
