In-Person Meeting #3 Materials
As we prepare to travel to Washington, D.C. for our third in-person meeting, we want to express our gratitude to each of you for your collaboration, energy, and passion which has made this program a pleasure to be part of. While our meeting agenda will hold a policy lens, information about the steps following this cohort and alumni opportunities will also be shared.
To prepare for our final 2025 in-person gathering, please review the attached meeting agenda (some session times are subject to change) and mark your calendars for these three additional networking opportunities.
- Networking activity on Monday, July 7 at 6:00pm ET
- Join us at Kraken Axe Throwing & Rage Room (840 E St NW, Washington, D.C. 20004) for a networking activity on Monday, July 7 at 6:00pm ET. Refreshments and light snacks will be served. Everyone participating must sign a waiver which can be accessed here and submitted beforehand.
- Happy hour on Tuesday, July 8 at 6:00pm ET
- Following day one of programming, we are thrilled to host a happy hour starting at 6:00pm ET on Tuesday, July 8 at Succotash Prime (915 F St NW, Washington, D.C. 20004). Refreshments will be served.
- Site-visit on Wednesday, July 9 at 2:15pm ET
- The EMAN site-visit, recommended to us by EMAN participants, will be held in partnership with the Manumission Tour Company and include time at a museum and historically relevant sites. The site-visit bus will depart at 2:15pm ET on Wednesday, July 9 and include a drop off at Ronald Reagan Airport and the Hotel Washington.

Site Visit Logistics: Manumission Tour Company
- The EMAN site-visit, recommended to us by EMAN participants, will be held in partnership with the Manumission Tour Company and include time at a museum and historically relevant sites. For those able to attend the site visit, a bus will depart at 2:15 p.m. Immediately following the site visit, the bus will drive to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport with arrival scheduled between 4:30 and 4:45 pm, and continue on back to Hotel Washington with arrival scheduled for 5:00 pm.
