Boston, MA – CFLeads, a national network of community foundations committed to advancing community leadership, is pleased to announce the appointment of Meghan Cummings as its new Senior Vice President of Strategy, Impact, and Operations.
In this newly formed position, Cummings will work closely with the President and CEO to execute strategy and advance the practice of community leadership among U.S. community foundations. She will also work closely with the staff leads on programs to advance CFLeads’ strategic objectives: building community leadership capacity for impact, galvanizing progress on community issues, sharing knowledge for community change, organizing the field for improved community outcomes, and leading with operational excellence.
Meghan brings a rich community leadership experience as well as the knowledge of all facets of community foundation work to her new role at CFLeads. Her proven ability to forge partnerships and lead teams will serve CFLeads well as we seek to implement our ambitious strategic plan, CFLeads 2.0. We are excited to have her on board.
Meghan comes to CFLeads with an impressive background in the non-profit field, bringing significant experience, leadership, and a passion for community foundations. In her latest role at Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Meghan served as the VP of Civic Advancement and has been leading public policy and advocacy work, developing initiatives across sectors, and advancing civic action to drive large-scale initiatives. Before that, Meghan served as the Executive Director of the Women’s Fund of Greater Cincinnati Foundation where she shaped and accomplished the mission of improving women’s economic self-sufficiency across an eight-county region. She successfully developed and led a strategy to influence community systems and maximize the program impact of the Fund.
With over 20 years of diverse experience and achievements in philanthropy, Meghan will play a crucial role in advancing the mission and taking CFLeads’ reach and impact to new heights.

I’ve benefited from CFLeads’ expertise and cutting-edge leadership tools throughout my career at our community foundation and I know that CFLeads speeds the pace of change on our most pressing challenges.
