Site Visit Logistics: Connect Community
- Connect Community is a purpose-built community located in the Gulfton neighborhood of Houston. They’ve developed a holistic model of supporting their residents with childcare, workforce development, and other wraparound services and are excited to share more about their programming with us! We are thrilled to share that they will be attending our EMAN lunch on March 20 to share information about their programming, residents, data, ongoing challenges and opportunities, and engage in Q&A with our participants. In addition, they are happy to welcome those of us who are able to attend a site visit into their space to view their new housing, textile factories, and meet some of the staff.
- When: We will depart from the hotel on Thursday, March 20 at about 3pm CT. The site is about a 20–30-minute drive from the hotel. We will then plan to spend 60-90-minutes at the site, depending on everyone’s availability and flight times.
- How: CFLeads will provide transportation and will circle back to the hotel and then on to the airport for those with evening flights. We will ensure our transportation has space for luggage if needed.
- Confirm Attendance: Using the Google attendance form, indicate if you plan to attend the site visit.
